Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Refund Raptor mobile application, the Refund Raptor marketing website, and any related services provided by Refund Raptor, Inc. (“Refund Raptor”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Please read Section 15 (Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver) carefully — it affects how disputes between you and Refund Raptor are resolved. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms as described in that section.

Refund Raptor provides tools for receipt capture, return and price-adjustment window tracking, notifications, email-to-vault forwarding, and claim message drafting. The service does not guarantee refund approval, merchant acceptance, policy interpretation, or any financial outcome. Stores, card issuers, and payment networks make the final decision on returns and adjustments.

Refund Raptor is a scheduling, tracking, and drafting tool — not a refund, return, or chargeback processor. You are the sender of every claim message generated by the app.

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by your app store (generally 13+, and 16+ in the EEA unless a parent has provided consent where required). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@refundraptor.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate information, comply with applicable law, and use Refund Raptor only for lawful purposes. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree not to:

• Misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to Refund Raptor systems, other users, or third parties.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or automate the service in a way that violates technical measures, applicable law, or third-party rights.
• Upload unlawful content, content infringing intellectual property, or content you do not have a right to process (including receipts that are not yours).
• Use Refund Raptor outputs to harass, defraud, or impersonate any person or entity, or to submit fraudulent refund or return requests.
• Attempt to generate or submit claims for purchases you did not make.
• Share your account with others or evade feature limits, subscription limits, or referral program rules.

Refund Raptor offers a free tier and a paid “Rex Pro” subscription. Current pricing, billing interval, trial length (if any), and included features are displayed in the app before you purchase and in the Apple App Store or Google Play listing.

Rex Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. We do not process credit card payments directly — Apple and Google are the merchant of record and their refund policies control refund requests for those transactions.

Platform promotional offers (such as introductory prices or free trials) are governed by the platform’s rules. We may change pricing, plans, or features with prospective effect; if we increase the price of an active subscription, we will give you advance notice and the right to cancel before the change takes effect where required by law.

If you share your Refund Raptor referral link and a new user signs up with it, they count toward your referral progress. A referral is “qualified” when the invited user saves their first scanned receipt (not a receipt created from email import). Every three qualified referrals add one month of Rex Pro to your account as an admin-granted entitlement.

We may void rewards for referrals that are fraudulent, abusive, duplicative (for example same household or device), or violate these Terms or platform rules. We may cap rewards per user per period and may modify or end the program with prospective effect.

Some Refund Raptor features rely on email. (a) Email-to-vault forwarding: when you opt in, we issue a private inbox address tied to your account; you may forward order confirmations to that address and Refund Raptor parses them into your vault. (b) Assisted sending: where supported, you may authorize Refund Raptor to send a specific draft message from a Refund Raptor address that is tied to your account. Each send requires your in-app confirmation. Refund Raptor never sends a message without that confirmation, never auto-files a chargeback, and never impersonates a third party.

You are responsible for the content you forward and the messages you authorize for sending. Do not forward emails that are not yours, do not authorize messages containing knowingly false statements, and do not use these features to harass or defraud any person.

“Refund Raptor”, the Refund Raptor mark and wordmark, the raptor head silhouette, the claw-mark device, the in-app mascot and any other Refund Raptor visual or text identifiers (collectively, the “Refund Raptor Marks”) are trademarks or trade dress of Refund Raptor, Inc., whether or not they are designated with the ™, ℠, or ® symbols. The Refund Raptor software, source code, server logic, prompts, parsing rules, training data, datasets, scoring heuristics, model fine-tunes, visual design, documentation, and related materials (the “Refund Raptor Materials”) are owned by Refund Raptor, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable license to install and use the Refund Raptor app on devices you own or control and to access the website for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, or create derivative works of the Refund Raptor Materials, in whole or in part, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction. You may not use the Refund Raptor Marks except as expressly permitted in writing.

You retain ownership of receipt data and messages you create. You grant Refund Raptor, Inc. a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, parse, and back up that content solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for you. We claim no ownership of your content beyond that operational license.

If you believe that content on Refund Raptor infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@refundraptor.com that includes: (a) a physical or electronic signature of the rights owner or authorized agent; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act. We will respond to valid notices consistent with the DMCA, which may include removal of the material and termination of repeat-infringer accounts.

The service integrates with or relies on third-party providers (including cloud infrastructure, authentication, document-intelligence APIs, notifications, product analytics when enabled, and payment processors). Those providers may change their features or terms. Refund Raptor is not responsible for third-party outages, errors, or policy changes beyond our reasonable control. Your use of a third-party service through Refund Raptor is also subject to that service’s terms.

Refund Raptor provides operational tools and informational outputs (including draft messages and timeline estimates). Nothing in the app or on this website is legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult a qualified professional for guidance specific to your situation.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Return windows, merchant policies, OCR-derived fields, and price-adjustment signals may be incomplete or inaccurate; always verify important details with the merchant before acting.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refund Raptor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limitations apply to the fullest extent allowed.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Refund Raptor and its affiliates from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

If you are a U.S. resident, you and Refund Raptor agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service through binding individual arbitration administered by a neutral arbitration provider (such as JAMS or AAA) under its consumer rules, seated in Delaware or another mutually agreeable venue, and governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property or unauthorized-access claims, and you may bring individual claims in small-claims court if they qualify.

You and Refund Raptor agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis; class, collective, or representative actions are not permitted, to the maximum extent allowed by law.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending a signed written notice to legal@refundraptor.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 13) or from Settings → Danger Zone in the app.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created a legal or security risk, or if we must do so to comply with law. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions intended to survive termination (for example ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, arbitration, and governing law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory consumer protections in the jurisdiction where you live that cannot be waived by contract. Where Section 15 does not apply, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires a different forum for consumers in your country of residence.

We aim to conform Refund Raptor with widely accepted accessibility standards (including WCAG 2.1 AA where feasible) and continually improve the experience for people who rely on assistive technologies. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email support@refundraptor.com and we will work to address it.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (including in-app notice where feasible). Your continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
