Does Refund Raptor send the claim to the store for me?
No. Refund Raptor drafts a message you can review, edit, and send yourself from your own email, the store's contact form, or live chat. You are always the sender — we do not impersonate you, and we never push a claim without you reading it first.
Will I actually get a refund or price adjustment?
Outcomes depend on each merchant's policy, timing, and your specific situation. Refund Raptor tracks return windows, price-adjustment signals, and hands you clear copy — it does not guarantee approval or any specific dollar amount.
Where is my receipt stored? Who can see it?
Account and receipt data is stored on encrypted, U.S.-region cloud infrastructure operated by an enterprise platform provider, with encryption in transit and at rest. When the on-device parser is not confident in a scan, the image may be processed by a commercial document-intelligence API under a contract that restricts use to providing the service. We do not sell receipt data and we do not use your personal receipt content to train general-purpose AI. Full subprocessor list: Privacy Policy §9.
How does email forwarding work?
After signing in you can ask the app to provision a private forwarding address that sends any order confirmation you forward to it straight into your receipt vault. The address is unique to your account — only forward email you own, and revoke the address from Settings whenever you like.
How fast is it?
In our internal QA the median time from opening the camera to a draft message ready to send is about three minutes per receipt. Cleaner photos and supported merchants finish in under a minute; receipts with crumpled thermal paper or unfamiliar layouts may need a manual review pass.
How do I cancel Rex Pro?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancellation happens in your store account. iPhone / iPad — Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Refund Raptor. Android — Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Rex Pro until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund on Rex Pro?
Apple and Google are the merchant of record for the subscription itself. Refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's refund tool. If you hit a wall, email support@refundraptor.com and we'll escalate where we can.
How does the referral program work?
Share your invite link from Settings. A referral becomes qualified once the friend signs up and saves their first scanned receipt (email imports don't count). Every 3 qualified referrals add 1 month of Rex Pro. Full terms: Terms §6.
How do I export my receipts?
In the app: Settings → Data & Export → Export Receipts. Choose CSV, JSON, or PDF where supported. Exports include parsed line items, totals, merchant, and return-window estimates so you can reconcile them outside the app.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account & Data. That removes your account, receipts, preferences, and push tokens. Disaster-recovery backups age out within about 35 days. If you can't sign in, email privacy@refundraptor.com and we'll verify and complete the delete manually.
A receipt parsed wrong — what do I do?
Tap the receipt and use Review & fix to correct items, merchant, or totals, then save. Your corrections stay on your account and also feed aggregated accuracy signals (never your personal content) to help Refund Raptor's parsing improve.
Store reminders aren't firing — what should I check?
Make sure location permission is set to "While Using the App" (or "Always") and that Store Reminders is toggled on in Settings → Store Reminders. Reminders only fire near the supported chains listed in that same section.
Push notifications aren't arriving.
Check OS notification permissions for Refund Raptor and confirm Return Window Alerts is enabled in Settings → Notifications. Rex sends alerts at 14 days, 3 days, and the final day — each with the dollar amount at stake.
